User groups

This page gives overview of the different user groups present in Quickterm

We've configured multiple user groups in Quickterm for the various roles involved in the terminology lifecycle at Adobe. We've created the below table to explain what those roles are and what rights and task each user type will have access to.

Dedicated project / terminology managers on the vendor side who are the point person between Adobe's terminology team and their company's language leads.

They gather the relevant terms and/or translations and ensure metadata from the language leads adheres to Adobe's guidelines.

They previously would complete terminology request forms for us to import into the term database.

In Quickterm they may be assigned edit,

translation and general terminology tasks by the Adobe Terminology PMs and they will be the last step in the vendor side workflow when a translator or language lead provides terminology.
